1. Accepting These Terms

By using urbanusazupogo.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Using the Site

The Site presents my research, writing and professional work, and lets you contact me about speaking, consulting and collaboration. Please use it only for lawful purposes, and do not try to disrupt it, get around its security, or send spam through its forms.

3. Who Owns the Content

Unless stated otherwise, the text, photographs and design of the Site belong to me. You may quote short passages with credit and a link back to the Site.

This ownership claim does not cover third-party names and logos, such as those of universities, funders, partners and media outlets, which belong to their owners. Published articles linked from the Site remain under the copyright and licence terms of their publishers.

4. Media and Speaker Kits

You may use the photographs, bios and other material in my media kit and speaker kit to announce, promote or report on an event, interview or story that involves me. Please do not edit the photographs beyond cropping, or change the bios in a way that changes their meaning.

5. My CV

If I share my CV with you through the CV request page, it is for your own review only. Please do not publish it, post it, or pass it on to others without my permission.

6. Bookings and Consulting

• A booking request sent through the Site is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking.
• I will reply within two business days to confirm a time or suggest another.
• Fees are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• For paid sessions, payment terms and any cancellation or rescheduling terms are confirmed in writing before the session.
• Speaking engagements and longer projects are confirmed by a separate written agreement.

7. Links to Other Sites

The Site links to other websites, such as journals, partner organizations and social media. I am not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. No Professional Advice

Content on the Site is for general information. It is not medical, legal or financial advice. Opinions in my articles are my own and do not represent any institution I work with.

9. Disclaimer and Liability

The Site is provided "as is". I work to keep it accurate and current but cannot promise that it is complete or free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from your use of the Site.

10. Accessibility

I want the Site to be usable by everyone. If any part of it is hard to use, please email me@urbanusazupogo.com and I will help and work on a fix.
