Privacy Policy

1. Who I Am
Urbanus Wedaaba Azupogo ("I", "me", "my") runs urbanusazupogo.com (the "Site") and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. You can reach me at me@urbanusazupogo.com or by post at PMB TL 926, Tamale, Northern Region, Ghana.
2. What I Collect, Form by Form
I collect only what each form asks for, plus a few technical details needed to run the Site safely.

When analytics is switched on in the cookie banner, Google Analytics also records pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type. See the Cookie Policy.
3. Why I Use It, and the Legal Basis
- Replying to enquiries and bookings: to take steps you asked for, or my legitimate interest in answering messages.
- Sending the newsletter: your consent, given when you confirm your email address.
- Reviewing CV requests and securing downloads: my legitimate interest in sharing my CV only with people I have approved.
- Analytics: your consent through the cookie banner.
- Spam and abuse protection: my legitimate interest in keeping the forms safe, using Google reCAPTCHA.
- Legal duties: where the law requires me to keep or disclose information.
4. Who Receives It
I do not sell, rent or trade personal information. It is shared only with the services that run the Site:
- Google Workspace (Gmail), which delivers and stores the emails the Site sends and receives
- Google reCAPTCHA, which checks form submissions for spam
- Google Analytics, only if you allow analytics cookies
- Faciotech, a company I founded, which hosts the Site and its database
I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. Transfers Outside Your Country
I work between Canada and Ghana, and Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Your information may therefore be handled outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it, I rely on the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers.
6. How Long I Keep It

You can ask me to delete your information sooner at any time.
7. The Newsletter
After you sign up, you will get an email asking you to confirm. You are not subscribed until you click that link. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also email me to be removed.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- See the personal information I hold about you
- Have it corrected or deleted
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting earlier use
- Object to or limit how I use it
- Receive a copy in a portable format
To use any of these rights, email me@urbanusazupogo.com. I will reply within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with my reply, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Data Protection Commission of Ghana, or, if you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The Site is not aimed at children under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please contact me and I will delete it.
10. Security
The Site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), access to the admin area is restricted, and CV access is limited to approved requests. No system is completely secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect your information.
11. Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
